Software Engineer
We're looking for engineer #3 to join our fast-paced and and mission driven team.
We are Change, a growing startup in the legal tech space. We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. This is a role that requires a strong background in software development and a drive to work at a fast-paced startup. You would be our 3rd full-time engineer and 7th team member, with lots of opportunity for ownership and growth.
📍 In-person, San Francisco (FiDi, near BART and MUNI)
💵 $140-180k comp + equity

You have 2+ years experience working on web applications at a legal tech company
You have previous experience working in a startup with fewer than 200 employees or a strong desire to work at a small, growing startup
You have familiarity with next-gen AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
You have full-stack experience, with TS/JS & Ruby on Rails preferred but not required
You have excellent problem-solving and communication skills
You have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Ship legal tech products for customers like Brex, Topicals, the NPBA, and DraftKings.
Drive innovation by architecting and scaling systems to meet growth demands.
Work with engineering, marketing, and customer success to deliver optimal customer experiences.
